Biography:

Pelayo Corella trained as a journalist and historian and has been a lecturer at ESCI-UPF since the first year. After heading Continuing Education for six years, he currently combines his work as content strategist at ESCI-UPF with giving classes and lectures on retail and company internationalisation. He has helped write several books and reports on the evolution of trade and he cowrote the book Negociación intercultural.

Mark Jeffery

Biography:

Dr Mark Jeffery is a specialist in the law, institutions and policies of the European Union,  with a particular focus on Trade Policy, the Single Market and Social Policy.  He has a law degree from the University of Manchester,  an MA in Industrial Relations from the University of Warwick,  and a PhD in EU Law from the European University Institute in Florence. He is accredited by the Catalan Agency for University Quality (AQU Cat, acreditació en Recerca) and the Spanish Agency for University Quality (ANECA).  He has taught at several universities in Barcelona, including the Pompeu Fabra University, the University of Barcelona, the Open University of Barcelona and the Blanquerna / Ramon Llull University.

He worked for over 15 years for the European Commission,  where he was Head of Communication at the Commission Representation office in Barcelona.

Erick Suarez Dominguez

Biography:

Erick Suárez Domínguez is the academic coordinator for mobility programmes and the consumer management area. With academic experience at universities in France and Latin America, he has taught marketing and management in undergraduate and master’s programmes. His research includes participation in conferences and publications focusing on understanding consumer behaviour, with a special focus on vegetarian and vegan communities.
