In 2006, MANGO and ESCI-UPF signed a collaboration agreement to establish the MANGO Chair in Corporate Social Responsibility. This Chair aims to train future professionals and create and disseminate knowledge in the business world of general interest.
The main objectives of the MANGO Chair in Corporate Social Responsibility are:
By combining academic rigour and practical relevance, the MANGO Chair in CSR explores various aspects of CSR, with a particular focus on CSR in an international context, the practical implementation of CSR, collaboration with interest groups, and the measurement of social and environmental impact. The results of research projects are published in case studies, working documents, manuals and guides, and in specialized academic publications.
The MANGO Chair also organizes training activities through the "CSR Drivers" cycle, targeting directors and CSR managers of public and private organizations. These sessions combine expert presentations and practical group work, intending to help practitioners develop plans and proposals to improve the strategic management of CSR.
