In 2006, MANGO and ESCI-UPF signed a collaboration agreement to establish the MANGO Chair in Corporate Social Responsibility. This Chair aims not only to educate and train future professionals, but also to expand knowledge in the business world and to generate opinions of general interest.
The main objectives of the MANGO Chair in Corporate Social Responsibility are:
By combining academic rigour and practical relevance, the MANGO Chair in CSR explores various aspects of CSR, with a particular focus on CSR in an international context, the practical implementation of CSR, collaboration with stakeholders, and the measurement of social and environmental impact. The results of research projects are published in case studies, working documents, manuals and guides, and in specialised academic publications.
The MANGO Chair also organises training activities through the "CSR Promoters" series, targeting directors and CSR managers of public and private organisations. These sessions combine expert presentations and practical group work, intending to help practitioners develop plans and proposals to improve the strategic management of CSR.
