Understanding challenges in the international environment. Analysis of country differences in terms of political economy and political risks as well as cultural and social heterogeneities. Analysis of global organisational forms and international strategies. Import and export strategies and financing. Global marketing and human resource management.
Learning Outcomes
To analyse and understand the challenges and opportunities companies face when expanding their activities internationally. To distinguish between the different tools and analytical skills available to the different specialised managerial roles when competing internationally.

He was graduated in International Trade and International Business and Marketing (ESCI-UPF) with Master's Degrees in International Business Management (ICEX-CECO) and in Economic History (UB-UAB-UZ), certification in Retail Management (FIT NYC) and currently pursuing his PhD in Business History.
Xavier has an international sales and marketing career in the furniture industry with 15 years of experience across different world regions, first based in the USA and then from Barcelona, travelling and doing business in over 70 countries.
