Learning Outcomes
Link the main developments in contemporary international economic history with currents of thought in social, economic and political matters. Identify the successive stages of European integration and the economic and political causes and consequences.

PhD in History (UPF)
Lídia Torra Fernández has taught International Economic History at ESCI-UPF since 2005. She also teaches economic history at the Business and Economics Department at the Universitat de Barcelona. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Modern and Contemporary History from UAB and PhD in History from UPF. She is a member of the “Grup de Recerca Consolidat de la Generalitat de Catalunya (2014-SGR-1345)” research group, is the author of several books and has written articles for specialist journals.

He was graduated in International Trade and International Business and Marketing (ESCI-UPF) with Master's Degrees in International Business Management (ICEX-CECO) and in Economic History (UB-UAB-UZ), certification in Retail Management (FIT NYC) and currently pursuing his PhD in Business History.
Xavier has an international sales and marketing career in the furniture industry with 15 years of experience across different world regions, first based in the USA and then from Barcelona, travelling and doing business in over 70 countries.
