Description

The Master’s Thesis is an original piece of work that sets out an international market entry programme or business plan for a new firm looking to do international business. Students have the support of a supervisor who guides them through the process. Supervisors are selected from members of the teaching staff for the master’s programme and monitor students’ progress and make suggestions and recommendations. At the end of the process, students have to present and defend their project.

Bachelor’s degree in Economic and Business Sciences (UPF)

Biography:

Ramon Xifré Oliva is a lecturer at ESCI-UPF and researcher at the Public-Private Sector Research Centre at IESE. He has led a number of research projects on policies to promote competitiveness (international business, innovation and entrepreneurial drive) in Spain and the EU, and he works with the ECB on its research group on competitiveness. Between 2009 and 2011 he was an advisory member to the Spanish Prime Minister’s economic office. He sat on the board of directors at ICEX.
