Professionally, José Miguel Aliaga has held positions in international procurement, supply chain, and international trade compliance. As a consultant, he has worked with companies in the aerospace, textile, food, and logistics sectors. As a lecturer and academic researcher, his interests focus on global commodity value chains and major commodity trading houses.
