Biography
Mouhcine Saoulej was born in Agadir, Morocco, and graduated in Hispanic philology from Ibn Zohr University in 2009, before going on to do a Master’s Degree in Spanish Language and Hispanic Literature at the UAB between 2009 and 2011. In parallel to his teaching work, he then began sociolinguistic research as a PhD student into “Lexicosemantic interferences between Arabic and Spanish in the speech of Moroccans in Barcelona”. He has over eight years’ experience teaching Modern Standard Arabic and Moroccan Arabic, as well as translating between Arabic and Spanish.
