Biography

Ramon Bastida is a full-time lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance at UPF-BSM and also teaches at the Department of Economics and Business at UPF. His lines of research focus on improving financial information and on managing social economy companies and new organisations that have emerged around the collaborative economy. He has published papers in indexed scientific journals in Spain and worldwide and has contributed to a number of books and research projects related to finance and his areas of research. He was an international research fellow at the University of Liège.

This course provides students with the necessary skills to create, develop and lead social enterprises. The course facilitates the necessary tools for the creation and management of social enterprises, analysing strategic and operating aspects, while promoting entrepreneurial and innovation competencies as engines of change of these organizations and their leadership.
