Biography
Oscar Conchillo Solé was born in Zaragoza and grew up in Mont-roig del Camp. He graduated in biology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and since 2001 has worked as a bioinformatics expert and investigator as part of a number of research groups at the IBB, where he is currently a member of the Computational Biology group. At the IBB he has been UNIX/Linux systems manager since 2005 and data centre manager since 2010. He has lectured at the UAB since 2015. He has written 31 articles, drafted a patent application and supervised several master’s theses. He is a member of the Sociedad Española de Bioquímica y Biología Molecular (SEBBM).
