Biography

Josep M. Fernández has been a chemistry lecturer at the Universitat de Barcelona since 1996. He also coordinates courses aimed at younger students, including the "Physics and Chemistry Workshop for Primary Pupils", "What about You? I’m Doing Biochemistry" and “Mad about Biochemistry". He is currently secretary of the Department of Biochemistry and Biomedicine at the Universitat de Barcelona. His research centres on the metabolism of sugars (PLOS ONE, 2014) and sperm (Andrology, 2015).
