Master in International Management
In order to gain a greater understanding of financial decisions taken by international business managers, we study the methods and tools used to manage international payments effectively, together with various financing alternatives. By examining case studies, we explore why multinational companies take certain operational and strategic financial decisions and analyse associated currency risk management practices. We explain the role and functioning of derivative products and the foreign exchange market, focusing on currency derivatives as a hedge. Finally, we analyse diverse international payment methods, multinational cash management techniques and transfer prices.
Acquire the ability to assess and discuss the economic and financial diagnosis of multinational companies and take decisions to determine an action plan to solve business problems. Gain an understanding of foreign exchange market concepts, how currency risk affects companies and how they can be hedged by means of currency derivatives.
