Biography

Marta Santamaría joined the the UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change ESCI-UPF in October 2023 as a Researcher. Since then, she is working on her Ph.D. thesis in the field of decarbonization within the healthcare sector, under the supervision of Dr. Pere Fullana i Palmer. Her thesis aims to co-create strategies for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions from the Catalan Health System based on a Life Cycle Perspective
