Biografía

Directora académica e investigadora principal de la Cátedra MANGO de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa de ESCI-UPF. Anteriormente había sido investigadora posdoctoral en el Center for Business in Society y en la Cátedra ”la Caixa” de Responsabilidad Social de la Empresa y Gobierno Corporativo de IESE Business School y colaboradora académica de la UOC. También ha trabajado como consultora medioambiental y auditora de sistemas de gestión ambiental (ISO 14001).

  •  Know the basic sustainability notions and concepts and distinguish between different perspectives of environmental, social and economic sustainability
  • Understand new emerging models and frameworks to describe, understand and address key sustainability challenges (like circular economy, doughnut economics, economy for the common good, etc.)
  • Identify and discuss the practical and moral issues around unsustainability
  • Critically reflect on the policies directed to promote sustainable development, including the current SDGs

SDGs in practice is a third-term elective course in the in the MSc in Sustainability Management. It builds on the compulsory courses of the Fundamentals of Sustainability module (Sustainability concepts and the SDGs and Sustainability Management Systems) and provides a specialized vision of the practical implementation of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by societal actors (states, businesses, non-profit sector and civil society).

In this course students will learn about practical experiences of advancing the SDGs in different themes (food, water and health) and diverse territorial scopes (cities, regions, countries), and the integrated, indivisible and interlinked nature of the SDGs.
