The importance of intersectional feminism in the Academia

They will talk about gender biases in the academia and how gender intersects with race, class and sexual identity.

As a research group at UPF, they read, study and discuss studies on research about women in the sciences and are especially interested in an intersectional approach to feminism in academia. They also promote the importance of gender balance in conferences, hiring processes, visibility, etc.
